Sahil Bansal

Sahil Bansal is an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, a legal educator, and the Founder of The Law, Read Slowly (TLRS), an initiative dedicated to making foundational areas of Indian law more accessible to students through structured and concept-driven learning.
He holds an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School. He has also participated in an academic exchange program at the University of California, Davis. Alongside his legal education, Sahil has spent the last several years studying and teaching core subjects of Indian law, including Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Evidence, Contract Law, Transfer of Property, and Family Law.
Professionally, Sahil has trained through internships with leading legal institutions and practitioners, including L&L Partners and chambers at Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. He is also actively engaged in the study of judicial services subjects and regularly teaches and discusses procedural and substantive law through TLRS.
Through his work, Sahil seeks to encourage students to move beyond rote learning and develop a deeper understanding of legal reasoning, statutory interpretation, and the practical functioning of the legal system.
As part of our expert panel, Sahil offers guidance to students interested in legal education, law school strategy, and careers in the legal profession. His journey reflects a commitment to rigorous legal study, thoughtful teaching, and the belief that law is best understood when it is read slowly and carefully.
